Baylor University seeks to fill a tenure-track faculty position within the Department of Classics at the Assistant Professor rank effective Fall 2024. We are searching for a collaborative faculty member with research experience in any area of Classical Studies.

Candidates should have:

• an earned PhD in Classics or a related field by the time of appointment
• an active research program
• evidence of the potential to generate extramural funding
• teaching experience at the undergraduate level is also preferred
