The Mary Jaharis Center Blog publishes calls for papers, funding and employment opportunities, lecture and conference announcements, and publication news of interest to those working in Byzantine studies broadly conceived and closely allied fields.
All posts are reviewed by the Mary Jaharis Center for appropriate content. Approved postings will be published to the Mary Jaharis Center website, included in the Mary Jaharis Center Daily Blog Digest, and shared via our Facebook and Twitter. The Mary Jaharis Center reserves the right to edit or withhold announcements. Please do not submit the same opportunity multiple times. Duplicate listings will not be published.
A note about our timeline. We publish opportunities with deadlines (e.g., calls for papers, job postings) about 4 weeks ahead of the deadline. We publish events 1 to 2 weeks ahead of the event, depending on the format (i.e., online or in person). Announcements that are not time sensitive will be published as time permits.
