Lives and Miracles: Narratives of Medieval Coptic and Muslim Saints, lecture by Amina Elbendary (Harvard University), Harvard University, October 5, 2023, 12:00–1:30 pm

Amina Elbendary is the Shawwaf Visiting Professor in the Department of Near Eastern Languages and Civilizations, Harvard University, for Fall 2023. She is Associate Professor and former chair at the Department of Arab and Islamic Civilizations at the American University in Cairo. Her research revolves around social and cultural history of Mamluk Egypt and Syria and she's currently working on the history of popular culture in medieval Egypt.
