The International conference Epigraphies of Pious Travel: Three Thousand Years of Pilgrimage Graffiti (1500 BC - 1500 AD), organized in the framework of the project Epigraphies of Pious Travel: Pilgrims' Inscriptions, Movement and Devotion Between Byzantium and the Rus' in the 5th–15th Centuries CE, funded by the Austrian Science Fund (FWF no. I 5286-G25), will take place at the Austrian academy of Sciences, Institute for Medieval Research January 24–26, 2024.
