The Department of History in the College of Arts and Sciences at Texas A&M University invites applications for two full-time positions in Public History, one at the rank of tenure-track Assistant Professor and one at the rank of Associate Professor with tenure, to begin in the fall of 2024. The geographical, chronological, and topical focus is open. 

Successful applicants will complement and extend existing department strengths in the research area of Public History, as well as in other research areas. The successful candidates will maintain an ambitious, productive research agenda, teach two courses per semester, build new courses and contribute to curricular programs related to the field of Public History, recruit and train exceptional students, and participate in university and professional affairs.

Ph.D. in history or a related field.
