The 29th European Association of Archaeologists Annual Meeting will take from 30 August–2 September 2023 at Queen’s University Belfast. 

The program features a special thematic session: Byzantine Heritage in Peril: The Safety of Archaeological Sites (Heritage, Conservation, Preservation, Non-Destructive Methodologies) (session #113). It is organized by is organized by: Myrto Veikou (University of Patras), Joanita Vroom (Leiden University), and Nikos Tsivikis (Institute for Mediterranean Studies, FORTH) as part of the Commission for Byzantine Archaeology of the International Association for Byzantine Studies (AIEB). The session will take place on Friday, September 1, from 14:00–18:30.
