Kyriakos Kalaitzidis at the First Boston Byzantine Music Festival
Dr. Kyriakos Kalaitzidis (Artistic Director and Co-founder En Chordais) delivered his lecture “The Relationship of the Byzantine Musical Heritage with Eastern Mediterranean Musical Traditions” on the second day of the first Boston Byzantine Music Festival, February 24–25, 2014. His lecture outlined the many points of contact between Byzantine music and neighboring traditions.
