The Zvi Yavetz School of Historical Studies, at Tel Aviv University invites applications for a tenure-track position in Medieval History, 500-1500 CE in the Department of History. 

We seek in particular researchers who focus on one of the following areas and/or on interactions between them: History of Western Christianity, History of Eastern Christianity, Mediterranean History, History of the Crusades and Crusader Kingdoms.

We are looking for a candidate whose research within medieval history contributes to broader historical contexts and concerns and will be able to teach core Western medieval history courses as well as seminars on thematic topics that can serve the rest of the department and the School of Historical Studies. The job will require tutoring research students on diverse topics, and academic service. 

The position is open to Ph.D holding candidates at all levels of their careers.
