Is that a Byzantine Empress on the upper lawn?
Kids can become Byzantine royalty on September 15. Or design their own mosaic. Or try their hand at goldsmithing. All this and more is available during the open house and family festival that will close the Hellenic College Holy Cross 75th Anniversary Jubilee, September 12–15. The Mary Jaharis Center for Byzantine Art and Culture will sponsor children's arts and crafts projects based on Byzantine art and will celebrate with balloon twisting, face painting, and cotton candy.
